Drilling is a very complex operation that requires various technologies and disciplines. Professionals handling drilling operations are also required to have an in-depth understanding and working knowledge of all these disciplines in order to drill a well effectively. This training course is designed to provide participants with the basic concepts involved in the planning and implementing drilling programs. This training course will discuss the aspects of drilling technology, cost control, evaluating alternative drilling methods, casing and drill string design, selection of casing seats, and more. The course will also provide all the fundamentals necessary to drill a well whether it is a shallow well or a complex.
