Introduction
Training course introducion / brief
ISO/IEC 17065 is the standard that sets the certification of products and for the impartiality and consistency of their certification activities. Product Certification is one of the ways to get confidence on the conformance of the product or material with applicable requirements and specifications.
This training program is designed to provide participants with the conformity assessment concepts for the certification of products, process and services as defined in ISO/IEC 17065:2012.
This program will cover topics such as the standard’s requirements, its benefits, and why it has become the international benchmark for product certification.
Course Objectives
At the end of the training course, participants will be able to
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the accreditation requirements of ISO/IEC 17065
- Identify what content (including types of documents and data) may be helpful in demonstrating compliance with each requirement and how this content is reviewed during an assessment
- Define terminology and identify documents, best practices and other resources that can be helpful in building an understanding of the standard
- Understand the requirements of the standard to conduct audit.
